I dont understand what's different with this and VwE besides a different launcher.

OK i got it working and i love it! So far everything works and its beautiful! Only thing missing is stock caller ID but that's minor. Thank u so much and good job on my new favorite rom =)

@john_2k2 yea I love the ui; I'm using jRodd's latest recovery? Should I use the other? What's the difference? Only thing that isn't workin for me is the caller ID

@india85g J_r0dds recovery should work fine, its just a matter of preference, if you use ROM manager you need Clockwork recovery so thats why i use the Clockwork one, but i used to be a J_r0dds recovery user before that lol just depends what fits your needs

So far everything looks good.. I just managed to get apps2sd working and just now started putting my apps on it, but it seems damn snappy.. haven't OC'd it yet nor have I done any benchmarks, but so far so good!
I like the feel of the rom, but I was curious, how could I get the plain VwE's launcher back on here? I like everything else about this rom, but i'm just really partial to the old launcher style.

@Jose thanks bro.. I've been using Handler's Vw/E for so long that it feels .... loopy not having that vanilla launcher. I have the original Vw/E still on my SD card so I can pull the Apk myself if you tell me where to look and how to put it back lol

@supreme313 it should be in system/app/    thats where most apps are :) it should be named launcher or something similiar sorry ive been busy trying to let out a fix for my ROM 

@jose no worries bro, I know all the devs are busy doing their stuff.. so once I have the .apk, just push it to /system/app/ and i should be good?

it's all good now, thanks bro! I just pulled Launcher.apk from Vw/E and pushed and it worked fine.. I figured since I had a nandroid backup, I could screw around and see what happens lol

no just ui look this might be my last rom because my cliq glass broke and t-mo might not have another cliq's in stock and have to get a subsittute phone like a MT 3G/Slide

I've downloaded this ROM 4 times, and everytime I try to flash, it stops at file verification: says the Browser.apk is corrupted... any clues?

The .zip may have been corrupted during download. Try to re-download and flash it again.

already tried :-/

Clear your browser cache it may just be showing you the same file over and over instead of actually redownloading it.

thanks for your help guys, but didn't work... try download using Chrome, Firefox and even my another pc...

sorry to ask, but is possible to take the framework-res.apk from FakeFroyo 1.0.1 and put it on VwE 1.2? I really like the icons used on FakeFroyo

you can try, but do your backups first. else just swap the drawable-mdpi in the framework-Res.apk
