there's a couple of wi-fi issues with adlx mod. Could you describe what you are experiencing?

The DNS patch is already installed in the rom (with slightly different frequency though), no need to flash it.

I've not been able to fix the Wifi issue (any help is welcome). What has been detected at the moment is that when wifi fails, wifi MAC address appears as Not Available (or the other way arround). The work arround at the moment is to have Wifi enabled before the phone connects to 2g/3g.

One easy way to do this is to always reboot the phone having Wifi enabled.
Another way is to Enable wifi from the PIN screen, using power control menu.

Just a note, for those who get at this thread looking for an answer: try patch 5.1 for adlxmod 2.1.5-5, it comes with my AutoWifiEnabler app, which seem to help fpr some users.

I DL and flashed, wifi still not working, where do I find the "AutoWifiEnabler app"?

@adlx is that just a patch or a full ROM...asking cause it's telling me it's  90.3mb which is normally a full ROM?

@bigboreguns Did you install the patch as well?

@jethro650 2.1.5-5 is a full rom, and there's a 2.1.5-5.1 patch available (about 2.6mb iirc)

i have the same problem but know a work around that works for me. you need to download apndoid (free). Need the DNS patch installed. use the apndroid to cut off the E/3G network once its gove from the notification area cut on the wifi and then shutdown ur phone and restart. Retry wifi, this might not work for everyone. also once out of range of known wifi access u can reenable the E/3G network.

If memory serves me correctly, enable wifi, soon as you do that restart phone, right from the lockscreen after it starts, use the power button to bring up the menu and start wifi again, and you should be good to go. Another tip, if you are using a home wifi connection, manually set up you settings, ip addy, subnet mask, etc so it doesn't have to get an ip addy every time. Once you get it workng, make sure you use it at least once every couple days or your MAC address will dissappear again. I found that for some reason it becomes "unavailable" after a couple days of no wifi use.

Seems when it comes to this everyones phone reacts differently, there are a pile of workarounds out there, just keep trying them till you find what works for your phone. The above is the only thing that worked for me running adlxmod 2.1.5-5. None of the patches worked at the time.

reinstalled roms, I wipe's, put several roms different, more not
normalize, my mac address is unavailable, the bluetooth from trying to
get to work with the rom GenericGinger more stopped again, wifi I
managed to run only one time, please help
