Will it connect to other wifi networks besides your home wifi?

so go back to stock 2.1 from moto? if it doesnt work

No try a different rom first the you know wifi used to work for you if not go back to stock

yea did the official 1.3.2 it is still a no go but did stock but still nothing :( so i am getting a new one

I've been having the same issue as well. It started off with not connecting at all, saying "connection unsuccessful." I reset the phone and still nothing, so I just left it alone. Turned off the phone when I went to sleep and left it off for about 6 hours, to my surprise it actually worked again afterwards. A few days later (now) it will connect to the WiFi but it won't.. read it? Or well, it enables the WiFi, but won't connect. The icon shows up on top, and the menu says it's connected, but when I check in WiFi File Explorer I only get a green light for WiFi Enabled and a red light for WiFi Connected. I've tried getting on the internet with it but no luck. I've tried reflashing with no luck as well. It might be a problem with the ROM but I'm kind of liking this one at the moment, so a little WiFi issue won't bug me too much. I'm on mmdl1001's Stocked ROM.

Well I was on the market before I came to read this and I saw an app that reapirs wifi problems?????? Idk just a suggestion idk I just scanned it I didn't really check it or anything

Well I just fixed my WiFi issues. I used ROM Manager (I believe you can find it in the market) and scrolled down to utilities and hit Fix Permissions. It scanned and changed a few file systems. I restarted the phone, turned on the WiFi and everything was working perfectly again. Thought I might throw it out there to see if it works for you as well.

Fix permissions is also in j_r0dds. It's a bit more stable also. I like the Clockwork Layout. But there have been issues.

@ngiordano thanks i figured out that my router is havingg issues it only wants to connect  to my netbook but it doesnt want to for my Cliq,Galaxy Tab ,iPod touch or my brother and dads computer so it was the router. its from att why am i not surprised

I have two CLIQ's with VwE 1.2 (mine and my wife's) and I just recently had a very similar wi-fi problem on my CLIQ.

my wifi and bluetooth not working, they stopped without any sense, I've
reinstalled roms, I wipe's, put several roms different, more not
normalize, my mac address is unavailable, the bluetooth from trying to
get to work with the rom GenericGinger more stopped again, wifi I
managed to run only one time, please help
