when i first started, i knew nothing more than putting apps into a zip, signing and flashing. Honestly, czarsuperstar has a lot of potential, along the lines of modding, he does extremely well. He goes beyond just putting stuff in there, he actually makes changes, and puts things into his rom/mod's that many people enjoy. His roms are also way more successful than most of the other ones.

the term "big-boys" is a term derived from windows mobile development back in the day, so i still use some of them.

and i am NOTHING compared to developers such as @handlerexploit, @toxigenicpoem, @barakinflorida, and @travisjames they are the ones who taught me everything i know.

@ablan1 you say that i can do what the big boys do. yes, i can build source, yes i can fix some things, yes i can build and successfully use vendor files, but i can't do HALF of the stuff that those mentioned previously are able to do.

Just simply stating the truth, even if it did come out a tad harsh ;)

Okay, please bare with me here; I cannot understand one word you are saying. So i will state everything i could make out of your reply.

Firstly, something about XDA? I haven't been on XDA in a while. What did i tell them? What was changed?

Secondly, yes VIRTUALBOX is an emulator, that is the primary role of that software. However, i dont know where your getitng VIRTUALBOX from, as i didn't say anything about virtualbox. For windows, however, your best bet would be VMWARE.

You also say: "you need to go make more MODS and leave me be Sun!"; You said that as if it is a bad thing to make mods, when we are currently conversing on a forum page about YOUR MOD. I havent made a MOD in like almost a year, all i ever do now is develop from source. unlike you, all you do is rip off people's hard work and repackage as your own.

I used to do what you are doing now, then i grew up. So shut your noob a*s up.

P.S. "SUN" is actually spelt "S.O.N." in that syntax, unless i have suddenly became a sphere of burning hydrogen gas.

Look honestly, the reason why im even saying anything is because you are doing ABSOLUTLY NOTHING for the progress in our community. You are repackaging other people's work, with different themes and such. Like i said, i used to do that, but then i grew up. Its not about getting your name out there. I used to be the billy mays of android. Your ROM is NOT the "ROM TO RULE THEM ALL" your ROM is nothing more than scraping together other people's hard work and covering the traces with all of the different names.


P.S.S. At the end, what was the whole "MOTORULER aka XSUPERSTAR" thing? Is that some sort of gay signature? How many alias' do you even have? I can probably count 5 right now.

@DJSwiggle The difference is @czarsuperstar does not lie about being a filepusher. He does some awesome work with the kitchens and it bring a better diversity for the community as a whole. @OpenCliq needs to realize that even if he is just a modder, he does produce quality mods. I back him 100% with everything he does.

i never said his mods werent quality, ive never personally flashed them so im not in a position to say anything about quality.

@DJSwiggle Everyone works differently if he wants to put out five different roms at the same time, nobody had the right to talk smack to him about it. This is not XDA, this is SA, and I believe everyone should be able to post whatever work they want as long as it is beneficial to the community.

@ablan1 i already stated that the community enjoys what he is releasing. And no were actually talking about hours to even weeks and months of hard work, not just a mere phone.

this rom has the new kernel just like VwE so you should be able to acheive the same with applying the oc patch. im going to fall back a little and work on metamorph themes.

Use this dhd.ko to get your WiFi working. Again unzip and place it in /system/lib/:

- adb remount
- adb push boot.img /sdcard/

- adb push dhd.ko /system/lib/

- adb shell

- su

- cat /proc/mtd <- Check where "boot" is. most likely mtd0.

- cat /dev/zero > /dev/mtd/mtd0 <- Change mtd0 to whatever "boot"
is on your phone. You will see this message or something like it:
"write: No space left on device". Ignore it.

- adb shell
- flash_image boot /sdcard/boot.img

- At this point you can use Root Explorer to replace the old dhd.ko in
/system/lib. Be sure to remember and re-set the correct permissions.


If you don't have Root Explorer, exit from shell and run these commands:

- adb remount

- adb push dhd.ko /system/lib/
- adb shell

- cd /system/lib/

- chmod 644 dhd.ko

I hope this help. I had to modify the steps slightly. There were some missing. I hope I didn't miss anything.

@ngiordano , Thanks for that Enlightenment cause i dont know nothing about overclocking or using setcpu, in my opinion if i need overclocking to make my phone faster than i will just use a faster Rom. I remember when there was a time when they said the cliq couldnt be overclock( same as multi-touch, which was said it couldnt be done), so to be on the safe side i will hold back on that overclocking but im so glad to see Everyones participation in our community it is wonderful, that was my goal, so now im satisfied. Where is the section for cliq/dext on xda cevs?

Oh! And make sure your phone is plugged in or you'll get boot-loops.
Use at your own risk. It is buggy. For instance (you'll need to plug in whenever you reboot).

strange that some people need to plug there phone into a charger to reboot, i've never had to do that once since i OC'd and i've had no probs at all.

VM VirtualBox | Virtualization | Oracle, so in case people aint having luck with Cygwin which is the emulator that runs Dsixda's kitchen. you have to load the virtualbox than get the best ubuntu so you can start building from source and whatever you choose.CZARSUPERSTAR.

say i wanted to use this rom with blur but wanted to have the stock android messenger and stock music player.  how would i go about doing that? i hate the blur messenger and CMP.

Please don't give up it was a misunderstanding and I've enjoyed seeing all your mods come out and we understand that you didn't buld it all from source but not many people can do what ur doing either so its benificial to those that ur making these ROMs and u can stick to them, not to mention its not like its not ur original work, uve changed it to make it urs so in theory it is, just think about it if people never used each others ideas where would we be???? So please don't quit I wanna se what this rom has :)

@jose i didnt quit. i had a newborn which cries and cries and sh*ts, but i pulled the file because people complained it wasnt booting, but im gonna post motoruler 2.
