Yeah, I have removed all the blur widgets, removed some bloat apks and installed launcher pro. It runs great but I hate the lock screen and it sometimes lags pulling up the applications list when I go to add a new homescreen shortcut.

While dont have the custom recovery, theres a way to replace the BlurHome by stock Launcher? I tried just install Launcher.apk that exists in Cliq/Dext ROM, but it not worked, shows "Application not installed" message.

I tried too using adb install and not worked. Can I just remove BlurHome.apk and put Launcher.apk in /system/app folder using adb shell?

Try to install launcher pro from the market and reboot your phone. This should solve your problem

I have installed launcher pro (which is working great) but i want to get rid of the useless Motoblur Tasks.
The privacy contract of Motoblur is also highly disputable. Whats the deal with this custom recovery?
Wouldnt it be best to post a guide to uninstall the Motoblur files?

For those of you who like to put numbers on the table, I added my epic quadrant score.

Just a thought, im believe clockworkmod works on defy, would you be able to flash your rom onto it from there? I ask because i made a foolish mistake deleting gtalk thus preventing lots of features and made it worse by wiping hoping it'd reappear now stuck with stock without market to enable dl of apps to grab gtalk. Really hoping for this recovery before xmas!

Clockwork Mod would be great! Right now it doesnt recognize the Defy. I can choose Milestone, Droid and Droid X. I want to backup my original ROM before I try anything on my Defy. Any suggestions? Shall I wait until Rom Manager Update? Or shall I use Milestone, Droid or the Droid X?
