lol, way gone with the wash thing, remember if one of those little silicone thing moves out of place i can asure you will have a wet brick :)

So what we need is a tight silicone cover that keeps the little silicone things in place

I think the silicon covers (btw.. they are not made of silicon,at least imho) are just for dust.

They dont fit tight enough to "defy" water :)

Im quite sure that even without these caps the defy wont get wet on the inside.

I've put it in a 2 foot deep industrial dishwasher XD

I guess that, by the end of next year, when the defy will be replaced for a new, water, dust, sand, lightning, plutonium and girlfriends resistant phone, we'll see a lot of experiences with the defy... i'll wait.

I've taken mine apart and surprisingly enough, those covers truly are holes into the heart of your phone. If they are not closed you may as well have a regular phone.
