Market Errors

I just reflashed my Cliq Wednesday, and I noticed that some of the apps I previously was able to download and install no longer show up. When I log onto the market website on my PC it says it is incompatible with my Cliq. One of these being all of the CM7 themes made by Upward spiral. I was able to successfully download it from xda, copy it to my SD Card and install that round about way. I am running CM7 Pure AOSP v2.9 (Android 2.3.5)

On another note, a friend of mine bought his daughter a tablet for Xmas, he asked me to "work my magic" on it. As a matter of fact the tablet comes prerooted. It is a Velocity Cruz R102. I was able to load what seems like a ROM on it from here  but it was nothing like when you install a ROM on the Cliq or any other Android I've rooted. It seems like all it did was add the google framework and market. Once I launched the market, it came up completely blank. I read on the same forum that there is some new fingerprinting that Google is doing for the market. I am wondering if this is the problem with both my Cliq and the Tablet. The post is here I seems as if the developer on this site is no longer supporting because no one has answered any questions about it...

Does any of the geniuses on this website know anything about this?

Try the attached build.prop for the tablet

just unzip it and copy the build.prop to your platform-tools folder then do

    adb shell cp /system/build.prop /system/build.prop.bak
    adb push build.prop /system/build.prop
    adb reboot

I changed the fingerprint to something similar so lets see if that works.

If it screws everything up then just do:

    adb shell cp /system/build.prop.bak /system/build.prop
    adb reboot

    Attachments
    build.zip 1K

:/ ill do more research on that issue when i have the chance, ive also noticed that the market has been pickier about these things

Yes it has...seems like Google is trying to make us stop modding our devices  :(

no, they just dont want people messing with those types of things, they can lead to easier pirating and such.

Any luck on this one @jassycliq

I still have this tablet sitting on my mantle at home... I wont see my friend until Thurs.

Sorry, been busy. Preparing for College :D

Umm, it has to be that build.prop though, a lot of it is messed around with :/
Did you use the updated ROM for the Tablet? I seen an update last time i had checked, im not sure if you had installed that one though

I know how that is LOL  My class started Monday. I have the one from the first link I put in the OP. The 4.0 installed on the tablet. Its dated 2/2/2011 which makes it almost a year old...
