[Need Help] Unroot/Uninstall Superuser Motorola Cliq

Hi people i need your help once again, i need to take the DEXT to Tech service, i've manage to make it go back to 1.5 but i can't get rid of the Superuser...

Also there is some issue with my computer OS so i cannot use RSD to flash an SBF, also there is no SBF of Claro Arg 1.5 around so i need other procedure.

You simply need to remove the su binary and the Superuser app

adb remount

adb shell

rm /system/app/Superuser.apk

rm /system/{,x}bin/su

exit

adb reboot

EDIT: The second rm statement is just shorthand for

rm /system/bin/su /system/xbin/su

If it's not in your list of apps that you can just uninstall then get terminal emulator from market and type in

mount -o rw,remount /system

rm -f /system/app/Superuser.apk

mount -o ro,remount /system

reboot

Allow superuser access when prompted. Make sure of the spelling and spaces. Your phone should reboot with the last command and superuser should be gone.

Wait a minute....the last two line might not work after you remove superuser with the second line, if they don't then don't worry that just means it's gone and you should reboot manually just to make sure.

This should work, feel free to wait for someone else to confirm or give another way to do it....

It's in the list of apps but it doesn't give me the Uninstall button, i don't have adb....never need it.

You might have to for this. @phoenixsong6 is right you should also remove i from xbin and I'm not so sure you can do that from terminal emulator on your phone, it needs superuser access to work and you might loose it after removing the first file. You can try, just opem terminal emulatot and type

su

that should change the $ to a # and give you a prompt to allow superuser

then use phoenixsong6's commands without the "adb remount" and "adb shell"

If it doesn't work you will have to get adb running on your computer.

You will have superuser permissions till Terminal emulator closes (the session ends)

Removing it using the phone is basically the same, like @jethro650 said:

Open terminal emulator

su

mount -o remount,rw /system

rm /system/app/Superuser.apk

rm /system/{,x}bin/su

reboot

I would download Motorola update software from Motorola.com and install the stock software for your phone. or downloadthe stock software and flash it with cwm if it boot loops pull the battery and reboot then it should be fine. a more simple approach would be to uninstall the updates for su then reboot. you can also try the one click root for Motorola phones over at xda, I used that for my atrix to remove su and unroot. I know it also works for the click :-) good luck hope it all works out.
