WOW Its great to see the same guys that used to make Cliq ROM's I used now making Sidekick 4G ROM's that I shall now use! Bought a sidekick for $180 on ebay :)

So I've been using this ROM since my last comment and I've got to hand it to ya, its the best I've seen a Sidekick 4G operate. Battery life is outstanding, minimal freezes/glitches (FAR BETTER THAN STOCK) and much cleaner.

Hey im new to this and i rooted my Sidekick 4G already and copied the Ginger 1.2 zip to my SD card...am i missing anything? It would be a great help Thanks

@xXN3SQU1CKXx Just download "ROM Manager" from the android market and open and select "Flash clockworkmod recovery" if it asks for super user permission just select allow and then it should be done then shut down your device and then press and hold your Vol + and - and power. the moment your display turns on let go off the power button and continue to hole the vol keys.in recovery (if properly flashed) selected "wipe data" and after select "flash zip from sd card and select GG 1.2 and it should begin flashing and then reboot and watch the magic ;) -

Good to know, I've been using that leaked stock build for awhile, its not bad for me. A lot better than the older KD1/KG2 builds in my experience but there's still some gripes about it. Probably making a switch soon lol. I love everything about the sidekicks UI except the dock.. (I guess because I had a sidekick for 3 years prior to android and enjoy the innovations)

I'm backkkkkkk. Running 2.0 as of 3am this morning. So far so good. Question though, Do you have a copy of the task killer normally pre-installed on the Sidekick? I used it a lot and was sad to see it missing from this release
