I'm on a cm7 nightly as well and I'm using it but its extremly buggy.
I have found that I have to leave adfree disabled to be able to use it. I also have to give it a lot of time before I try to do anything with it or it will come up with a "force close / wait / report" box.

So I wait for it to respond when I'm at the board?

try wordfeud it works on the cliq and has less problems then words with friends on any phone :)

Use ADXL's super osr rom. The rom is great and word with friends runs perfectly

@jaydub - Problem is, I want to play with my friends who all have Words with Friends. They all refuse to use anything different :\

@thevillian - I actually rather stick with CM7. Its a great rom, just I prefer something with a stock feel to it.

@Salucho009 - SuperOSR is CM sources with AOSP. It's pretty much a striped down CyanogenMod.

@DJGHOSTS3V3N Actually if i read correctly its AOSP with CM stuff... Its a technicality but thats what they wrote...

@Salucho009 I just installed words with friends on my ROM ( CM7PureAOSP(2.3.5)v2.7 ) from the market. It is running just fine. So try either mine or SuperOSR or both. Let me know where it works :)
