    FAQ

Q: Why I don't see current version? In settings it just shows 2.3.7.

A: I left the Android version at 2.3.7 for the AOSP look. Current ROM version shows at the bottom of list under Build number.

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

@manish1978  you can still access CM Settings by long pressing on the home screen
selecting create shortcut -> CM Settings -> select section you
want to access. It will create a shortcut on your screen.

jaydub, congratulations. Lucky me, I did not install the AOSP rom because I was busy with something else. I did install the nightly 69 (the devil made me do it). Now I am preparing to install your 2.3 version and have a couple of questions, being a noob. 1. I flashed the CWM 4.0.1.4, do I need to do the process that you outlined above in order to use it? 2. And I have ROM premium and have used it previously to install from SD card since my data connection is slow and not reliable. So when Ready to install the AOSP rom can I use ROM manager and install it from the SD card as I have been doing with the nightlies? Thanks

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

Yes you can flash though ROM Manager as long as ROM Manager shows current recovery as ClockworkMod 3.x.x.x And your actual Recovery shows 4.0.1.4

  • donpvdonpv August 2011

Thanks much. Rom Manager Premium v4.3.3.0 and CWM Current Recovery 2.5.1.2......is shown ? I downloaded 4014 and flashed using Terminal Emulator and it went through the process as expected. I read a a post saying that 4014 would not show up, but was there.

  • ngiordanongiordano August 2011

scroll down to the bottom set of drop-down boxes
    select the top one
    Select WCDMA preferred

@sepn changed in what? The ROM?

    改变在哪? ROM的

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

    @ sepn 如果你指的是ROM
    删除蜂窝状三维主题更换的蓝色玻璃蜂窝主题
    造成摊位引导系统有时导致错误讯息

    一些整体清理updaterscriptbuild.prop,ECT...

    添加WIFI系绳3.1测试版2

    如果你的意思是头像只是调整大小,力图使更容易看到它并没有真正的工作,虽然

dude im totally bummed ! after the 2.3 update my phone started to reboot almost every hour on the hour. i deleted everything and did a clean install and still the same :-( went back to superaosp . what happened man? i loved the rom really bummed

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

@troutslayermv I am sorry for you troubles. There were some issues with 2.3. But not to fear I believe I have them fixed. Been a little busy at work. Should have a new version posted in the next day or two. I have been running it for a few days and it seems fine. I have updated the source so there should be quite an improvement. And I did this one all by hand no help from the kitchen.
    :-D

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

@troutslayer I sent you a message. Let me know what you think.

  • stars75238stars75238 August 2011

@jaydub What were some of the issues you were able to fix.  Overall I have had little issues with the phone, an occasional reboot or such.  Just curious what you changed to know if I should load 2.3 again.

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

@stars75238 Are you overclocking? I really want to figure out what is causing the reboots, but I am not experiencing any reboots. Please send me a last_kmsg log the next time you experience a reboot. There are instructions  under the download link in the OP. Thank you :-)

P.S. No need to reflash 2.3. I am uploading 2.4 now.

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

    Anyone experiencing any reboots.

Please send me a last_kmsg log the next time
    you experience a reboot.

There are instructions  under the download link
    in the OP. Thank you

  • stars75238stars75238 August 2011

As soon as it happens I'll do that.  Where can I get a list of the CM APNs, I want to set them up on another phone that is running 2.15 and has to stay there, the users preference.

  • stars75238stars75238 August 2011

BTW what is happening in 2.4?

  • jaydubjaydub August 2011

@stars75238 check the change log.  I sent you a message with the apns-conf.xml
    Uploading 2.4 to RomManager
