I Need help with this. My Market updated automatically, but since then, everytime i open it it force closes. I Sent an email to Google, but they discovered i'm using Cyanogenmod7 and told me to go and get the official (and sucky) Motorola 2.1 Update.

Go to settings>manage applications>all tab find market and uninstall updates. I wonder why some people say it isn't working? It works every time for me...hmmmmm

I Already did.. but it's really weird. I could install the unnoficial APK WAY BACK on running old nightlies.. but now none work :(

Give this a try wiping Dalvik. It has a couple of other apps. They can be uninstalled in settings :-)

What ROM are you using...I'm running CM7 and just flashed gapps and lod market is back....

Mine didn't...even tried pulling the apk from the zip and installing that like any other apk and force close after loading market. Newest gapps from link in CM7 thread same thing, force close. Had to flash older gapps to get old market back...doesn't matter to me, from what I could see I would like older market better anyway.

@ronattack go to settings>applications>manage applications>all tab and find market. Uninstall updates.

It sill updates, oh well.
