In 2.1 roms IIRC there is a styles.xml in framework-res.apk where you can change this.

Not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for but try spare parts, fourth one up from bottom.

spare parts where? I know it was in my last rom but I don't see it now... I pulled framework-res.apk out of my rom and found styles.xml I changed all the text settings to 22.. I hope that it'll work. (I saved the original framework-res.apk just in case I mess it up)

Yeah after I posted I checked....then got busy at work lol....spare parts is in your app drawer.

DUH thought it was under settings... my changes made my buttons in texting funky looking.. will changing spare parts do the same? 

If you use extremely large you get some clipping. Slightly with extra large but you get the same effect without having to change values. There are a number of choices to try as well.

OK thanks. I'm going to reload my original framework now and play with those settings
