Running Team Rogue's CM4Morrison CyanogenMod 7, it comes with S2E. Previously, I've used ROMs that came with Apps2SD and Gingerbread itself supports moving apps to SD. There's also a rel="nofollow" href="http://
yeah im having problems with the new cm4 rom and s2e just closes when i try and open the app it takes me back to the home screen. any alternatives other than s2e and trying to reinstall and reinstall from market..THANKS!
IDK been banging my head against the wall on this all day...same thing, open app and goes immediately back to homescreen. I gave up awhile ago, I don't really need it anyway. Just for the record I tried redoing sd card frm scratch with both j-r0dds recovery and CWM recovery, reflashed Rom and tried again, reflashed third time and didn't use mybackup root to redo apps....
any other good alternatives besides s2e?
Yeah the stable alternative. Open application manager in setting. Select the SD card tab. Check the unchecked and move to SD.
THANKS! i didnt even know this.. wow your everywhere! (so am i :( ..i know..)
Lol it is time consuming. But less so than fiddling with the alternatives.
@ngiordano should i also since imma be using the default option of move to sd should i partition my sd card to ext3? just concerned a lil thats all.
If you go into the app manager you will see what can be moved. If it doesn't a check do it manually.
S2E is working great in my phone... i'm using S2E included in your previous rom Native move to SD can't be used if you want to mount a .img file as a partition. I mount a .img file to run Debian in the phone. having enable S2E wasn't enough to be able to mount the .img I also have to move all the programs to the phone memory using the application panel. Maybe you can try to move all the apps to the phone memory first and then enable S2E. It's just an idea.
