[BootAni] Motorola Cliq 2 MDPI port
  • A requested boot animation by @jeddiel182
Special thanks to @alarmdude9 for giving me the original boot animation to port
Thanks @ngiordano for helping me make this flashable.

Basically, the boot animation from Cliq 2 ported to Cliq, CliqXT, and other MDPI devices. The End.
"Original" is the entire Cliq 2 bootanimation (Motoblur and Tmobile)
"With Tmobile Logo" is only the Motoblur part of the bootanimation from Cliq 2

  • choelloenchoelloen May 2011

accidentally I use this bootanimation. damn awesome.

  • @john_2k2 - Yeah sure. Feel free to use this boot animation anywhere you want.

  • FYI:

When pushing you can do this, which is easier:

    adb remount
    adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media
    adb reboot

    :D

  • @DJGHOSTS3V3N - Oh, I never knew that. Instructions updated. Thanks :)

  • You're welcome! ;)

  • woow amzng! thanx!

  • Or you can download BootAnimationUtility. It's an app that manages your boot animations :D

  • john_2k2john_2k2 May 2011

@Nonextstop also boot animation changer Just place the zip on sd and apply from there they also have alot of other animations like droid, stock,CM etc.

  • CliqownerCliqowner May 2011

When i try to apply them i dont even get a boot image

  • baophambaopham May 2011

does anyone have the stock CM7 boot animation backed up?  I forgot to back mine up and can't find another one.  I tried using the CM7 stock boot animation from boot Boot Animation Utility but its the wrong size, need an MDPI one for cliq.  Thanks in advance

  • @baopham - you can find bootanimation.zip inside /system/media in the <rom>.zip. Where rom is teh cyanogenmod rom name.

    @Cliqowner - Did you extract bootanimation.zip?

  • CliqownerCliqowner May 2011

@Saulcho009 no, i used BootAnimation Utility the others worked so i didnt.

  • JassyCliqJassyCliq May 2011

Baophom its in ur rom just unzip and go to system/media/ and it'll have boot animation there

  • klawellklawell May 2011

I know..... because it has a zip file inside another zip! kkkk

    ps. beaultful
    :-D

  • CliqownerCliqowner May 2011

wait so u extract the file and there a zip inside that and thats what you use.

  • klawellklawell May 2011

not rename the Cliq2MDPI.zip file, extract only, that is what I meant. ;-)

  • CliqownerCliqowner May 2011

Can u make a flashable versiom because no matter what it not working for me.

  • john_2k2john_2k2 May 2011

@Cliqowner Try using AndroidCommander MUCH MUCH Easier to drag and drop files to your system files just open and drag the bootanimation.zip to system/media folder and reboot

  • I'll look into the Bootanimation Changer app and create my zips to be compatible with them. I haven't really made a flashable zip but I'll try to make one too. Sorry for the difficulty guys...

  • can this have the FAIL! logo instead? and if its flashable would be GREAT!

  • Saulcho009Saulcho009 July 2011

    Update: Bootanimations are now flashable.
